Terms and Conditions
1.1 I’ll take a 50% deposit when you book your cooking experience and confirm the date. By paying this deposit you are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions.
1.2 Your cooking experience date is only confirmed once I have received your 50% deposit payment.
1.3 Once I’ve received your deposit, you will receive a booking confirmation email with the details of your booking.
1.3.1 Any experience can be cancelled and fully refunded within 24 hours of purchase, after that the booking deposit is non-refundable unless cancelled by me.
1.4 Any further payments after the booking deposit are non-refundable if the booking is cancelled less than 2 weeks before the event.
1.5 The remaining 50% of the balance must be paid no later than 2 weeks before the cooking experience.
1.6 If you would like to reduce the size of your booking once the deposit has been paid this is at our discretion.
1.7 You alone are responsible to ensure the ingredients you purchase before a cooking experience are suitable for your own health needs, and safely transported, stored and (if applicable) prepared.
1.8 When you book a virtual cooking experience, I will send an ingredients list, equipment list and preparation guidelines to the email address you provide at the time of booking. It is your responsibility to pay for and ensure you have the ingredients and equipment required to participate in the online cooking class. We are not liable to provide any refunds, exchanges, reschedule an online class, pay for the cost of ingredients or equipment, or liable in any other way to you if you are unable to fulfil those requirements.
1.9 When you book a virtual cooking experience, it is your responsibility to ensure you have the technical capability (such as software and internet speed) to attend that experience. We are not liable to provide any refunds, exchanges, reschedule an online experience, provide technical support, or liable in any other way to you if you are unable to attend or participate fully in a virtual cooking experience due to any technical issues.
2.0 You (the client) and your guests may be photographed and/or filmed during your cooking experience. Your name and any photographs and/or recordings featuring you may be used on my Website, on social media, or in my marketing and promotions unless the client has expressly withdrawn their consent in writing.
2.1 You will indemnify and hold me and my employees harmless from all claims, damages, liabilities and causes of action which may arise as a result of:
your preparation, storage, reheating and consumption of food after your cooking experience;
any injuries or damages you sustain or, or that your guest or anyone affiliated with or connected with you, may sustain in connection with or resulting directly or indirectly from your or your guest’s, or affiliated or connected person’s, involvement in my cooking cooking
